Notice of Service Fees
Per IDAHO STATUTE 6-2402, the following service fees as determined by the Idaho State Fire Marshal will be charged for fire response and firefighting services for non-members residing within the BPC Volunteer Fire Department service district. The term “non-member” refers to those billed property owners within the district boundary who have not paid their annual dues on or before April 1st of each year.
Initial Response $ 400.00
Structure Engine $ 150.00 per hour
Water Tender (1700 gallons) $ 150.00 per hour
Water Tender (2500 gallons) $ 200.00 per hour
Support Truck(s) $ 125.00 per hour
Brush Engine $ 100.00 per hour
Personal Vehicle $ 50.00 per hour
Fire Fighter $ 35.00 per hour

We are your volunteer rural firefighters
The BPC Volunteer Rural Fire Department is a dedicated band of men and women who are pledged to respond to fire emergencies in a district of thirty-six square miles in central Idaho. The area they serve is made up of farms and ranches, homes and cabins, grasslands and forests and rivers. It rests at the feet of the Bitterroot mountain range to the east and the South Fork of the Clearwater River to the west.
Since 1988, the BPC VRFD has worked to protect the lands and homes of those within the district from the devastating effects of wildfires and structural fires. And because of mutual aid agreements with other surrounding fire departments and the Idaho Department of Lands, the BPC-VRFD has assisted neighboring fire departments in putting out numerous fires throughout northern and central Idaho.
